Art 102 at Artist Collective is an intermediate art class designed for young artists ages 9 and up who are ready to build on the basics and move into more advanced creative work. This class is ideal for students who already understand foundational art concepts such as basic composition and color theory and want to continue developing their skills in a supportive, inspiring environment.

If your child has completed Art 101 or already has a solid grasp of beginner art principles, Art 102 is the natural next step. It is designed to challenge growing artists, introduce new materials and techniques, and help them become more confident and expressive in their artwork.

Who This Art Class Is Best For

Art 102 is best for students ages 9+ who already have prior knowledge of basic art principles. Many students will move into this class after participating in Art 101, but children with previous art experience are also welcome.

This class is a great fit for young artists who have a strong understanding of basic composition and color theory, enjoy drawing and painting, are ready for a more advanced class structure, and want to continue improving their technique while exploring new materials.
